Forage

Just a few minutes ago I got an email from a friend at the Fleischmann Planetarium about a science and art event that is happening in Reno tomorrow afternoon! It's called Forage and will have tons of very exciting science and art related activities. If you participated in our science night last year or were in one of the classes that made oobleck with me then you have seen a non-newtonian fluid. We made small cups of the stuff and were amazed by the way it sometimes acted like a liquid and sometimes acted like a solid. Our small cups were pretty cool but at Forage they are going to have a pool of it!!! Some of the other events include a science fair, confetti volcano, and hot air balloon launch!
