The Science of Success

Sometimes you find science in unexpected places. Embedded below is a video that was shared with me last night about a group of kids who loved soccer. They refused to let the fact that they lived in a pretty unusual place get in their way and worked really hard to make their dream of having a championship soccer team come true. Many of the most famous scientists you can think of were made fun of or dismissed during their own lifetimes but because they kept working and following their dreams they came up with some pretty amazing things. The inventor of the first telescope, Galileo Galilei, is a perfect example of this. He was actually put in jail because of his work to prove that the Earth was not at the center of the universe!
