Crack an Egg Underwater!
Sometimes when we are on break I like to go SCUBA diving in a place called Monterey in Northern California. By wearing a tank of compressed air (remember that air is a gas and that gasses are the state of matter which can be compressed to fit into small spaces) I can spend up to an hour underwater checking out fish, plants, and other marine life. Check out this video of another diver who wanted to see what would happen when he cracked a raw egg at a depth of 30 feet! It reminds me of the question some of our 6th graders asked with their balloon project about what would happen to an egg as it rose 100,000 feet into the atmosphere!
